The department warned people in 15 provinces across the country to prepare for widespread scattered rain with heavy falls in some areas and the danger of floods from Saturday to May 29.
The 15 provinces are the northern provinces of Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phayao, Nan, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Pitsanulok, the central provinces of Petchabun, Chanthaburi, Trat, and the southern province of Ranong, Phang Nga and Satun.
